Course structure and content
The Pandemic transformed the mediation industry. Mediators, long used to meeting clients face to face, suddenly had to grapple with the challenges posed by lock down restrictions and adopt remote methods of working. Online mediation continues to be popular with the public though many still ask for in-person mediation. As a result, mediators need to be skilled and confident mediating online and in person.
The course is delivered through combination of online and in person sessions to give you the knowledge and skills you need. Sessions include:
- Live interactive online training
- Demonstration videos
- Theoretical knowledge
- Regular mediation skills practice (both in person and online)
For those on the enhanced course, there are also opportunities to observe real mediation sessions conducted by trained mediators.
